Th\u00f4ng tin t\u1eeb \u0110\u1ea1i Ph\u1eadt S\u1eed<\/h2>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3} -->\n<h3>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; PRINCESS SUPPAV\u0152SA The Koliyan<\/h3>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul><li><strong>Her Past Aspiration<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The future Suppav\u01ces\u01ce was reborn into a worthy family in the city of Ha\u00d1s\u01cevat\u012b, during the time of Buddha Padumuttara. While she was listening to a sermon by the Buddha, she saw a certain female lay disciple being named by Him as the foremost in offering superior articles. She thus had a strong desire to become such a disciple in the future. After making extraordinary offerings, she aspired to that distinction in front of the Buddha, who predicted that her aspiration would be fulfilled in her future existence.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3} -->\n<h3>(b)&nbsp;&nbsp; As Princess Suppav\u01ces\u01ce, The Koliyan, in Her Last Existence<\/h3>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The future Suppav\u01ces\u01ce, after being reborn in either deva realm or human realm for a hundred thousand world-cycles, was reborn as a princess of the Sakyan clan, in the city of Koliya. She was named Suppav\u01ces\u01ce. When she was of marriageable age, she was given in marriage to a Sakyan prince. As the housewife in the household of the prince, she had the occasion to listen to a discourse by the Buddha which resulted in her attaining Stream- Entry. Later, she gave birth to a son, named S\u012bvali. (Details of the episode of the birth of S\u012bvali has been described in Chapter 43: S\u012bvali Mah\u01cethera.)<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3} -->\n<h3>(c)&nbsp;&nbsp; Princess Suppav\u01ces\u01ce as The foremost female Lay Disciple<\/h3>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>At one time, Princess Suppav\u01ces\u01ce, the mother of the Venerable S\u012bvali, offered choicest food to the Buddha and His Sangha. After finishing the meal the Buddha preached a discourse in appreciation of the special offering, He said:<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>\u201aMy female lay disciple Suppav\u01ces\u01ce, in making this food offering, has in effect made five kinds of offering, namely, life, good appearance, happiness, strength and intelligence. <a><\/a>Offering of life leads to longevity, either in the deva realm or in the human realm<em>. <\/em>Offering of good appearance, happiness, strength and intelligence leads to the blessing of good appearance, happiness, strength and intelligence (respectively) either in the deva realm or in the human realm.\u201b This was the occasion that became the ground for the Buddha\u2019s naming of foremost female lay disciple on Suppav\u01ces\u01ce.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>On another occasion, when the Buddha was residing in the Jetavana monastery in S\u01cevatthi, and was naming distinguished female lay disciple, He declared:<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>\u201a<em>Bhikkhus<\/em>, among My female lay disciple who make gifts of the choicest quality, Suppav\u01ces\u01ce, the Koliyan Princess, is the foremost.\u201b<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:list {\"ordered\":true,\"start\":6} -->\n<ol start=\"6\"><li>C\u00d4NG CH\u00daA SUPPAV\u0152SA Ng\u01b0\u1eddi Koliyan<br>(a) Kh\u00e1t v\u1ecdng trong qu\u00e1 kh\u1ee9 c\u1ee7a c\u00f4 \u1ea5y<br>Suppav\u01ces\u01ce t\u01b0\u01a1ng lai \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c t\u00e1i sinh v\u00e0o m\u1ed9t gia \u0111\u00ecnh x\u1ee9ng \u0111\u00e1ng \u1edf th\u00e0nh ph\u1ed1 Ha\u00d1s\u01cevat\u012b, v\u00e0o th\u1eddi \u0110\u1ee9c Ph\u1eadt Padumuttara. Trong khi c\u00f4 \u0111ang nghe \u0110\u1ee9c Ph\u1eadt thuy\u1ebft ph\u00e1p, c\u00f4 th\u1ea5y m\u1ed9t n\u1eef \u0111\u1ec7 t\u1eed c\u01b0 s\u0129 n\u00e0o \u0111\u00f3 \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c Ng\u00e0i m\u1ec7nh danh l\u00e0 b\u1eadc nh\u1ea5t trong vi\u1ec7c c\u00fang d\u01b0\u1eddng nh\u1eefng b\u00e0i kinh cao si\u00eau. Do \u0111\u00f3, c\u00f4 r\u1ea5t mu\u1ed1n tr\u1edf th\u00e0nh m\u1ed9t \u0111\u1ec7 t\u1eed nh\u01b0 v\u1eady trong t\u01b0\u01a1ng lai. Sau khi c\u00fang d\u01b0\u1eddng phi th\u01b0\u1eddng, c\u00f4 mong mu\u1ed1n \u0111\u1ea1t \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c s\u1ef1 kh\u00e1c bi\u1ec7t \u0111\u00f3 tr\u01b0\u1edbc m\u1eb7t \u0110\u1ee9c Ph\u1eadt, ng\u01b0\u1eddi \u0111\u00e3 ti\u00ean \u0111o\u00e1n r\u1eb1ng nguy\u1ec7n v\u1ecdng c\u1ee7a c\u00f4 s\u1ebd \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c ho\u00e0n th\u00e0nh trong s\u1ef1 t\u1ed3n t\u1ea1i trong t\u01b0\u01a1ng lai c\u1ee7a c\u00f4.<br>(b) L\u00e0 C\u00f4ng ch\u00faa Suppav\u01ces\u01ce, Koliyan, trong s\u1ef1 t\u1ed3n t\u1ea1i cu\u1ed1i c\u00f9ng c\u1ee7a c\u00f4 \u1ea5y<br>Suppav\u01ces\u01ce t\u01b0\u01a1ng lai, sau khi t\u00e1i sinh \u1edf c\u00f5i deva ho\u1eb7c c\u00f5i ng\u01b0\u1eddi trong m\u1ed9t tr\u0103m ngh\u00ecn chu k\u1ef3 th\u1ebf gi\u1edbi, \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c t\u00e1i sinh th\u00e0nh c\u00f4ng ch\u00faa c\u1ee7a t\u1ed9c Sakyan, \u1edf th\u00e0nh ph\u1ed1 Koliya. C\u00f4 \u1ea5y t\u00ean l\u00e0 Suppav\u01ces\u01ce. Khi \u0111\u1ebfn tu\u1ed5i k\u1ebft h\u00f4n, c\u00f4 \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c g\u1ea3 cho m\u1ed9t ho\u00e0ng t\u1eed Sakyan. L\u00e0 m\u1ed9t ng\u01b0\u1eddi n\u1ed9i tr\u1ee3 trong gia \u0111\u00ecnh ho\u00e0ng t\u1eed, c\u00f4 \u0111\u00e3 c\u00f3 c\u01a1 h\u1ed9i nghe m\u1ed9t b\u00e0i thuy\u1ebft ph\u00e1p c\u1ee7a \u0110\u1ee9c Ph\u1eadt v\u00e0 k\u1ebft qu\u1ea3 l\u00e0 c\u00f4 \u0111\u00e3 \u0111\u1ea1t \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c Nh\u1eadp m\u00f4n. Sau \u0111\u00f3, b\u00e0 sinh m\u1ed9t con trai, \u0111\u1eb7t t\u00ean l\u00e0 S\u012bvali. (Chi ti\u1ebft v\u1ec1 t\u00ecnh ti\u1ebft ra \u0111\u1eddi c\u1ee7a S\u012bvali \u0111\u00e3 \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c m\u00f4 t\u1ea3 trong Ch\u01b0\u01a1ng 43: S\u012bvali Mah\u01cethera.)<br>(c) C\u00f4ng ch\u00faa Suppav\u01ces\u01ce v\u1edbi t\u01b0 c\u00e1ch l\u00e0 \u0110\u1ec7 t\u1eed n\u1eef h\u00e0ng \u0111\u1ea7u<br>M\u1ed9t l\u1ea7n n\u1ecd, C\u00f4ng ch\u00faa Suppav\u01ces\u01ce, m\u1eb9 c\u1ee7a \u0110\u1ea1i \u0111\u1ee9c S\u012bvali, \u0111\u00e3 d\u00e2ng nh\u1eefng th\u1ee9c \u0103n ngon nh\u1ea5t cho \u0110\u1ee9c Ph\u1eadt v\u00e0 T\u0103ng \u0111o\u00e0n c\u1ee7a Ng\u00e0i. Sau khi k\u1ebft th\u00fac b\u1eefa \u0103n, \u0110\u1ee9c Ph\u1eadt thuy\u1ebft m\u1ed9t b\u00e0i kinh t\u00e1n th\u00e1n s\u1ef1 c\u00fang d\u01b0\u1eddng \u0111\u1eb7c bi\u1ec7t, Ng\u00e0i n\u00f3i:<br>\u201aN\u1eef \u0111\u1ec7 t\u1eed t\u1ea1i gia Suppav\u01ces\u01ce c\u1ee7a t\u00f4i, khi c\u00fang d\u01b0\u1eddng th\u1ee9c \u0103n n\u00e0y, th\u1ef1c t\u1ebf \u0111\u00e3 th\u1ef1c hi\u1ec7n n\u0103m lo\u1ea1i c\u00fang d\u01b0\u1eddng, \u0111\u00f3 l\u00e0: cu\u1ed9c s\u1ed1ng, ngo\u1ea1i h\u00ecnh \u0111\u1eb9p, h\u1ea1nh ph\u00fac, s\u1ee9c m\u1ea1nh v\u00e0 tr\u00ed th\u00f4ng minh. Vi\u1ec7c d\u00e2ng hi\u1ebfn s\u1ef1 s\u1ed1ng d\u1eabn \u0111\u1ebfn tu\u1ed5i th\u1ecd, d\u00f9 \u1edf c\u00f5i th\u1ea7n hay c\u00f5i ng\u01b0\u1eddi.
