Tr\u01b0\u1edfng l\u00e3o ni k\u1ec7 &#8211; Ti\u1ec3u b\u1ed9 kinh Nikaya<\/h2>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:heading {\"level\":4} -->\n<h4 id=\"ftoc-heading-10\">(XXVI) M\u1eb9 C\u1ee7a Abhay\u00e0 (Ther\u00ec. 127)<\/h4>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><br>Trong \u0111\u1eddi \u0111\u1ee9c Ph\u1eadt hi\u1ec7n t\u1ea1i, n\u00e0ng \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c sanh l\u00e0 m\u1ed9t hoa kh\u00f4i \u1edf Ujjen\u00ec, t\u00ean l\u00e0 Badumavati. Vua Bimbis\u00e0ra \u1edf Magadha nghe ti\u1ebfng v\u00e0 mu\u1ed1n g\u1eb7p n\u00e0ng. V\u1edbi s\u1ef1 gi\u00fap \u0111\u1ee1 c\u1ee7a v\u1ecb gi\u00e1o s\u0129 c\u1ee7a vua, vua \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c g\u1eb7p n\u00e0ng v\u00e0 n\u00e0ng c\u00f3 thai v\u1edbi vua. Vua b\u1ea3o khi n\u00e0o n\u00f3 l\u1edbn th\u00ec \u0111\u01b0a v\u00e0o cung. N\u00e0ng sinh \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c m\u1ed9t \u0111\u1ee9a con trai, \u0111\u1eb7t t\u00ean l\u00e0 Abhaya (V\u00f4 \u00day). Khi \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c b\u1ea3y tu\u1ed5i, n\u00e0ng g\u1eedi con trai \u0111\u1ebfn vua Bimbis\u00e0ra v\u00e0 vua th\u01b0\u01a1ng y\u00eau n\u00f3 v\u00e0 nu\u00f4i d\u01b0\u1ee1ng n\u00f3 v\u1edbi c\u00e1c ng\u01b0\u1eddi con kh\u00e1c c\u1ee7a vua. Sau n\u00e0y \u0111\u1ee9a tr\u1ebb l\u1edbn l\u00ean tin theo \u0111\u1ea1o Ph\u1eadt, xu\u1ea5t gia, nh\u01b0 \u0111\u00e3 \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c t\u01b0\u1eddng tr\u00ecnh trong Tr\u01b0\u1edfng l\u00e3o T\u0103ng K\u1ec7. V\u1ec1 sau, m\u1eb9 c\u1ee7a Abhaya nghe Abhaya thuy\u1ebft ph\u00e1p, c\u0169ng xin xu\u1ea5t gia v\u00e0 sau m\u1ed9t th\u1eddi gian tu h\u00e0nh, ch\u1ee9ng \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c qu\u1ea3 A-la-h\u00e1n, v\u1edbi ph\u00e1p t\u00edn th\u1ecd, v\u1edbi ngh\u0129a t\u00edn th\u1ecd. N\u00e0ng nh\u1edb l\u1ea1i nh\u1eefng c\u00e2u k\u1ec7 do con n\u00e0ng gi\u1ea3ng cho n\u00e0ng v\u00e0 th\u00eam v\u00e0o nh\u1eefng b\u00e0i k\u1ec7 c\u1ee7a ch\u00ednh n\u00e0ng:<br>33. T\u1eeb https:\/\/tipitaka.fandom.com\/wiki\/Therigatha2.8<\/h2>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tipitaka.fandom.com\/wiki\/Therigatha2.8\">https:\/\/tipitaka.fandom.com\/wiki\/Therigatha2.8<\/a><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>2.8 Abhaya&#8217;s Mother, Padumavati, Ex-Courtesan Of Ujjeni<\/strong><br>Accumulating merit under former Buddhas, she, in the time of Tissa Buddha,&nbsp;saw him going round for alms, and with glad heart took his bowl and placed in it a spoonful of food. Reborn for that among gods(angels) and among men, she was born also for that, in this Buddha-period, and became the town belle of Ujjeni, by name Padumavati.[1]&nbsp;And King Bimbisara (of Magadha) heard of her, and expressed to his priest the wish to see her. By the power of his spells, the priest summoned a Yakkha who, by his might, brought the King to Ujjeni. And when she afterwards sent word to the King that she was with child by him, he sent back word, saying: &#8216;If it be a son, let me see him when he is grown.&#8217; And she bore a son and called him Abhaya. When he was seven years old she told him who was his father, and sent him to Bimbisara. The King loved the boy, and let him grow up with the boys of his court. His conversion and ordination is told in the Hymns of the Elders(Theragatha). And, later on, his mother heard her son preach the Dhamma, and she, too, renounced the world became nun and doing insight meditation (Vipassana[2]) and then attained Arahantship (enlightenment equal to Buddha), with thorough grasp of the Dhamma in form and meaning. She upon that recalled and repeated the verse by which her son had admonished her, and added her own to that:<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>&#8216;Upward from sole of foot, O mother dear,&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Downward from crown of hair this body see.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Is it not impure, the evil-smelling thing?&#8217; (33)<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>This have I pondered. meditating still,&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Till every throb of lust is rooted out.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Expunged is all the fever of desire.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Calm I am now and won Nibbana&#8217;s peace.
