Education is the tendency of human that rise in the fundamental principle ofDependent Arising or Causation1<\/sup><\/b>, aiming to achieve the\u00a0Truth<\/b>,\u00a0Good<\/b>, and\u00a0Beauty2<\/sup><\/b>for the mutual and interdependent life. When it comes to the factors of dependent arising, it is impossible not to consider the cause and effect of each phenomenon, to see clearly the corresponding of the\u00a0Resultant Person3<\/sup><\/b>and the\u00a0Dependent Condition4<\/sup><\/b>. Joint or collective karma is closely connected to each separated karma and vice versa. The Buddha taught:\u00a0\u201cWhen this exists, that comes to be. With the arising of this, that arises. When this does not exist, that does not come to be. With the cessation of this, that ceases.\u201d<\/i>Therefore, education is the work of the masses; in which each individual is an inseparable interactive motivating force. A symbiotic world is seen through the interactive lens (in each other and together) of the causal and conditional stream; so that one can explicitly see the importance of the long chain of transmission and reception of human life.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The child\u2019s body and conscious seed are the link between their parents and generations of grandparents, as well as the interaction of everyone in society. Therefore, if the parents want to give their child a healthy body, then first it requires the parents\u2019 bodies to be healthy as well. Creating a healthy source of life to feed yourself and knowing how to use beautiful words and ideas to come into life, is to know how to live well for yourself and for people. The child’s body and mind are the copies of previous generations. An unhealthy thought, an unpleasant word, and a harmful act of the adult is the bad factor affecting future generations. A person who runs after desire is to self-destruct his body and mind and contribute to taking away the health of his descendants. A poorly intelligent child is correspondingly associated with the parents\u2019 cigarette and alcohol intoxication.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The human body loses its resistance, weaken its immune system, and causes the Gene (DNA) to transform into incurable diseases such as cancer is a consequence of the chemical contaminated source of life. People are willing to emotionlessly run after profits but forget the poisoning by their own lack of wisdom and love, by putting melamine in milk for children to use, or mixing the formaldehyde into noodles. People are willing to be indifferent by bringing movies, newspapers, and media with hateful and violent contents, causing division among the human communities, creating harmful and infectious conditions for generations of descendants. Today school violence, isn\u2019t it originated from all of those causes? One must explicitly understand the two words\u00a0\u201ctransparent communication\u201d<\/i>that our ancestors used; so that one doesn’t continue to have a\u00a0\u201cnon-transparent communication\u201d<\/i>to each other. A bad joint karma (community) affects each individual karma (individual), and each individual bad karma also harms the community. It is necessary to thoroughly understand the stream of continuous cause and effect that constitutes the\u00a0immediate<\/b>or\u00a0present retribution<\/b>,\u00a0next life retribution<\/b>, and\u00a0future retribution5<\/sup><\/b>; to build a healthy and beautiful world for the present and the future. To do so, one must be conscious of\u00a0\u201cshow good, hide bad\u201d<\/i>(abandon the evil and transmit the good) in the art of transmission that the Buddha taught.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Parents, teachers, and adults must be the soul engineers who know how to cultivate good people for society. Religious dignitaries, educators, artisans, politicians, and rulers must also be soul engineers contributing to the human cultivation for the good of life. Today’s violence in the world is due to the combination of harmful doctrines and inhuman actions of mankind.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

People often label themselves as democratic freedom, fairness, charity, and other things, but their actions fall into dictatorship and tyranny; which creates a consequence of the strong oppresses the weak, the powerful suppresses the powerless, and the big country dominates the small country. Therefore, it is difficult to be fair in human society, every time the mind of people has not discharged their own selfishness. A humanistic education must be built on the basis of reason and love to neutralize the causes of suffering for humanity. The beginning, the middle, and the end are all good which is the absolute humanistic education that the Buddha taught to strengthen the individual and human community. Thanks to reason, which helps one sees clearly that all the causes and consequences are created by humanity and not by any supernatural or surrealistic beings. Man is the master who makes the inner and external world become peaceful and beautiful; which can also make defilements, war, death, hatred, and suffering. Good or bad behavior, good or evil, ignorance or wisdom of each individual (individual karma) and the whole community (collective karma) are factors that determine happiness or suffering.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Understand thoroughly the fundamental principle of mutualistic coexistence, one does not turn away, face down, or hide from the reality; also does not trust nor submit oneself to deities; nor begging or surrendering to any supernatural or surrealistic beings. This is because no one can make anyone good and holy; no one can make anyone wicked and despicable except oneself. The value of every human being depends on their behavior in their mutual coexisting life. Individual good karma in collective good karma and vice versa is an interdependent consequence. Therefore, do not blame anyone for each other’s evil and wrongdoings; but build an absolute humanistic education in every soul. Therefore, tolerating inactive and lazy students in their learning is directly contributed to the destruction of the work of human cultivation. But, badly scolding the students for mistakes and wrongdoings, is the first step to undermine the humanistic education. Failing adults create conditions for spoiled children. Buddha taught: \u201cIgnorance is the root of all wrongdoings and sufferings, but wisdom is the root of all good and happiness.\u201d<\/i>Therefore, lighting wisdom and protecting love is the first step of humanistic education.<\/span><\/p>\n

Immediate or Present Retribution, Next Life Retribution, and Future Retribution<\/b>–\u00a0<\/span>the immediate<\/b>or\u00a0<\/span>present retribution<\/b>means present life recompense for the good or evil done in the present life. For example, if good karmic seeds are created or sowed in this life, it is possible to reap those meritorious retributions or happy fruits in this present life; in other hands, if bad karmic seeds are sowed in this life, then it is possible to reap the suffering fruits in this present life.\u00a0<\/span>Next life retribution<\/b>means the good or bad karmic actions are done in the present life can be resulted in happy or suffering as ripen karmic fruits immediate next life. And\u00a0<\/span>the future retribution<\/b>means the good or bad karmic actions are done in the present life can be resulted in happy or suffering as ripen karmic fruits not immediate next life, but the following lives after the immediate next life.<\/span><\/li>\n
